Connecting your Google Business Profile

How to connect Google so RealQube can draft posts and review replies, what permissions it asks for, and how to disconnect.

Updated September 13, 2026

Connecting your Google Business Profile lets RealQube draft posts from your content, read your reviews so it can draft replies, and show your profile's performance in the dashboard. You can disconnect at any time.

Before you connect

  • Make sure you have a Google Business Profile and that you are its owner or a manager. If you do not have one yet, create it at business.google.com and complete verification first.
  • Know which Google account manages the profile. It is often a different account than your everyday Gmail.

Connecting

  1. Open Google Business in the dashboard and press Connect Google.
  2. Sign in with the Google account that manages your profile.
  3. Approve the permissions. RealQube asks only for the scopes needed to manage posts, read and reply to reviews, and read performance data, in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
  4. Choose the business profile to connect if the account manages more than one.

What RealQube does and does not do with the connection

  • It drafts posts and review replies for your approval. Nothing posts without you unless you turn on auto publish for posts.
  • It never writes, requests, or posts reviews on your behalf. Generating reviews would violate the FTC's review rule and Google's policies.
  • It does not use your Google data for advertising or share it with anyone else. Details are in our privacy policy.

Disconnecting

Press Disconnect under Google Business, or remove RealQube from your Google account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Drafts already approved stay on your profile; they belong to you.
